spotted u lee on friday eve at tesco's fuel garage, the Mrs & I was out for a drive in Trix. cheers only to return home a few hours later running on 3 cylinders grrrrrr.

cheers, found cause completely burnt out plug ie nothing left & no compression.
Taken head off to find no damage to valves so a little baffled why i had a puffing noise from the engine. Reason for plug was a poor helicoil repair where the helicoil seems it was to long & petruded through, yep that all melted away as well.
Bonus though pistons measure up to be oversized to a 1.9 engine so when up n running again will have the grunt for taller gears for easier motorway speed.
