Just read this on OCC website, I presume this would also effect using cars for proms etc.

"we're all doooomed!" said that scottish bloke in Dad's Army. As a driving instructor our monthly newsletters etc. were always full of similar stories the most popular title being "end of the road for.....(insert topic here)"

Basically they're saying Wedding car = Pretty taxi. So the most I'd expect is they follow the taxi regulations.
