Frank
I must have misunderstood what Peter said then as he said to me I could have gone over there with him, obviously it was only for me, I will keep looking for you.

A former neighbour rented part of an old farm building in Manston, which I believe was around the size you are looking for. I understand there were several similar units for let, but I don't know whether any are currently vacant. I don't have any contact details, but it is on the corner of Vincent Road and Flete Road. The yard used to belong to the house opposite, but I don't know whether it still does. I will try to get hold of him, but in the meantime it might be worth having a look and perhaps asking around.

Hi Frank, I am in a similar position to you and am looking for a workshop , however I am looking for a place to run my business. Any chance you could send me any premises that you find that are unsuitable for you.
Thanks, Ross

There is a chance I may have found somewhere for you from one of my customers, I am seeing probably tomorrow, it may need all 3 of you going into it as there is a locked yard and shall we say 2.5 workshops/ garages. as far as i know 1 unit will take at least 2 cars and the other at least another one plus a secure yard.

Also I am after somewhere for storage of cars only. Needs to fit around 8-10 cars if anyone hears of anywhere. Again not after anywhere commercial, as I don't want to have to pay business rates. If anyone hears of anything. Must be local. I would be really grateful for any information!

It's got to be covered and secure mate. If you hear of anything reasonable I would really appreciate it! Smile

Yeah I think I'm realising that mate! Still no harm asking about, weirder things have happened.
Yeah I wish!

I would think at least £10K per annum !!
I know of a place that has been empty for years but do not know who owns it.

Just read these posts what would be offered per week for two garages one with a pit, and plenty of storage for 8/10 cars outside? private house in St Nicholas? very private and secure. If its worth my while I may consider emptying my garages. Providing I can persuade my hubby!

Frank It would be a shame to sell your cars just because you can't find a garage most of mine live outside and get used all year round when they work that is, just give them a really really good waxing underneath my '49 lanchester and freshly painted Viva both live outside and my brother has a splitscreen camper he uses every day even in the snow. It is what they were designed for after all.
