PostSubject: What has happended to thif orum   Sat Oct 18, 2014 3:53 am

Hi everyone I keep looking in but nobody seems to post much anymore.
Is there a reason for this or have folks moved on ?
Best regards
Bill

I asked the same question some time ago Bill. Apparently, they all prefer facetwit or something.

My sentiments entirely. I still look in on the forum from time to time, but I guess it will simply fade away in time. The P4 owners club forum is going the same way, though the P6 forum is thriving.

I didn't know about that one. I'll drop in some time.

Incidentally, your suggestion re the expansion tank a few months ago was spot on. Went to the chap in Newington and got one that exactly fitted the space I had in mind for it (where the power steering pump would be). £10, and it even had the right pressure cap. Now I don't have to keep topping up the rad.

Its a shame and I have tried previously to keep the forum going but I can't talk to myself!

Perhaps we should start a break-away group for those who don't do facebook.

People can always find out what is happening at the meets? I know that's not possible for everyone either.
But sadly I do have a life outside of the club and can't give 100% of my time to constantly update 3/4 different places...

It wasn't a serious suggestion Lee. I know I'm in a pretty small minority.

I shall be retiring next year so will then be able to get to meetings.

The problem/advantage being you can access several different clubs on Facebook without having to log onto individual sites.
