Some feedback as I said i would to lee on FB.

Definately leave a tad earlier so we dont get pushed for sun light Razz

Stopping at somewhere a little more crouded would be great so we can hassle for more and more money for the cause... as that is what its all about Very Happy It was a shame we ran out of time to stop as westwood ? I think its called ( that combines with the first suggestion of leaving earlier )

The overall route was great, some of the roads were awesome, was very happy there were no speed bumps as I already scraped on the way in and out of the red arrows club...

A slight change of direction may have been needed because at I think two points the cruise got a little cut up from traffic lights that didnt seem to change for EVERRRR.

Not that Im saying it was a bad cruise, It was great! I really wish the light wouldnt go as early as it does because I loved cruising with a bunch of other old cars making the public laugh as well as raise money for an awesome cause.

I really think doing it next year is a must! Was really cool and there are no other winter/christmas events that run in kent as far as im aware.

Ok going to reply to everything on this really appreciate it!

Leaving earlier, definitely my timings were out by around half hour. But its all a lesson isn't it!

We wanted to stop at Westwood Cross, but as it is all privately owned by about 3/4 different companies it is very difficult to get permission at short notice. But next year I will be more prepared and therefore should be able to get permission!

And yes the traffic lights did cause us some problems, but that can obviously be addressed with a different route/people stopping traffic. Again a lesson learned.

Thanks for this it does help, if anyone else has anything they want to add it would be appreciated!

I think due to the feedback I have had so far this event will have to happen next year. But we shall see Wink

The reference to traffic lights.
There are bound to be some on any route, a suggestion could be a dedicated Leader and Tail end Charlie.
A pair of walkie talkie radios would help as the Tail end Charlie could let the Leader know if the lights change, and when he has cleared the lights. the Leader could then pull over to regroup if the convoy got broken up, and Tail end Charlie could let the leader know when the convoy had regrouped.

As to my videos, having trouble loding them to the PC, sound is there, sound is there when recording, NO B sound when I review playback before saving.
Might have to reload my software, IF I can find the disc.
My photos I'll start a thread on the show and meet forum.
I'll email them to you as well Lee.

BTW, I will be changing ISP soon so all my, maybe, details will change
So if I vanish for a few weeks you know why, last time I changed ISP, 7 years ago, it took 6 weeks.

Thought it was you, should have stopped.
I was in the Volvo estate, got lost trying to get out from the services after stopping to clean my lights.
You had just stepped through the door as I waved to your passenger..

Roll on next year.

Been trying to make them into a slideshow, but won't work on here, so looks like one at a time.

Sorry didn't turn up last night, bit under the weather, docter has booked me in to see cardiologist, don't know when yet.

Looks like the DLM repairs will be a nut at a time Laughing Laughing

Have resigned myself to the fact I am going to have to add a soundtrack to the video.
Will sort a track to suit, or not, Benny hill comes to mind hahaha.

I missed half the cars at the Hospital traffic lights, sorry guys, was too late for some, got some after the ambulance came out and switched off to soon missing the second half of the convoy.

Will have another go later, got to start the dinner.
