i brought this by accident really (which has happened to me on more than 1 occation lol) i just happened to be in eastry with a friend one day when i spotted the gt in a back garden and it must have been perfect timing because he had just decided to sell it and well it would have been rude not to really.









this is how it looked when i first got it

filler on the rear quarter was rather thick and there for no apparent reason as both rear arches are original


















the offside was greedy lol it had 3 sills






underseal

gone

to floor of workshop and i never ever want to do this job ever again

sills are the only panels you can buy new for an hb



























primer



fresh paint Smile





















adjustable platforms and rear springs from a corsa

can't wait to get the suspension done

and i've got this to go in over winter,need a ford type 9 bow if anyone knows of 1

god i never up date this do i lol

all the bodywork was done by B H Bodycraft in ash

its been used alot and since i've had it on the road and was even using as daily driver mid january because my passat broke

i have been trying to decide if i should use the 2.0xe or a rover v8 i have both and love my v8s but the xe will be faster and more economical so i will use it even more
