PostSubject: Going to a meet as a "new person" - Being on the other side.   Sat Oct 08, 2011 9:55 pm

I recently went to a VW meet, that I had been meaning to go to for a while. I have spoken to a lot of them over their website but when I got to their meet hardly any of them spoke to me.

Not gonna lie it was really weird being at a meet and not knowing everyone (Like I do at TC).

Its not the only meet it has happened at, its just this one highlighted it more to me!

So my thought for the day! (Yeah they do happen sometimes).

Remember the new guys and girls, I can very proudly say that we are one of the best clubs for welcoming new members but lets not let it slip!!!!

Yes , funny isn`t it ? I`ve always been one for getting stuck in when it comes to clubs . This is the first time I`ve joined a club without actually having a classic , it feels weird . Doesn`t seem the same , you want to get stuck in but it just isn`t the same without a classic . Crying or Very sad

I can imagine it being weird mate, especially for someone with out a car because that kind of breaks the ice so to speak.

I am sure you will get one eventually! And I hope that you don't feel like you have been left out! Smile
